We believe that so much time, money and intelectual resources have gone into the development of instructional and curricular materials across schools, and that the bottleneck for achievement at this point is how students feel. We must address their levels of self-esteem, engagement and their relationship with school.
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Culturally Responsive and Sustaining Education (CRSE) are a part of the solution, but as students' lives are more entwined with their cell phones and digital experiences, we believe our product can help embrace students in a more effective, personalized way.
And this is because we've been there. Our leadership team has the experience working in public middle and high schools in New York City as core subject teachers, coaches, technology coordinators and data specialists.
